Here is the problem, that in the total scheme of things isn't really very important.
My dishwasher, 12 years old, isn't really cleaning the dishes anymore, although we still use it. I'm not sure why, just habit I guess.
I need a new one but can't decide what to do. Obviously, the "in" thing is stainless steel. The range is really old but the fridge is fairly new. So do I go "bone" and then everything will match. Or do I go stainless steel, and then replace the others when the time comes, which will mean many years of unmatching. Or, I could go stainless steel and paint the fridge silver and hope the stove dies so I can replace it sometime after we have recovered from the wedding. In the meantime, we just clean them really well before we put them in and keep putting off the decision.
If any of you designers have an opinion, please share it.

Also, Steve Christensen, Edna's husband, is in the hospital with a brain tumor. They are trying to do radiation as they can't do surgery. I'm sure she would appreciate a card or call.-thought you'd like to know.

My opinion, is to not go stainless...think of all of the fingerprints you will constantly be wiping off, plus it wouldn't really match, and I would not recommend painting the fridge. Just keep the dishwasher the cream color you already have. Then you can replace the others eventually, in cream. just my opinion. :)
I agree with deena! I am not a big fan of the stainless steal look myself. Fingerprints would be a huge dilema It's seems like it would be impossible to keep looking good all the time! CREAM CREAM CREAM!!!
I will agree with Deena, too. I'm all for matching. By the way, I think our kitchen matches yours, only I think our appliances are even older!!!

I think I'll have to agree with all of the above. If you did go stainless, and then waited till your others needed to be replaced, by then stainless may no longer be the thing. Cream would look nice.

No. But I did figure out that anyone posting a comment on my computer will appear to be Dad/Dean. It was Dad when the first comment was posted. I changed it to Dad/Dean. So, Who comes over to our house and uses my computer in the garage???

Our dishwasher is now in and we LOVE it. Due to the overwhelming opinions for cream I went with that although it is now called Bisque. It looks like it was made to match the cabinets and it is SO quiet you don't even know it is on and the best part is that it gets the dishes clean. Thanks for all your expert opinions.
