For those of you who haven't heard, I was accepted into the University of Oregon school of law! It was hard to pass on Santa Clara. It would have been fun to go some place completely new, and I think the Bay Area would have provided a lot of good opportunities for us both. But U of O is close to home, and a heck of a lot cheaper! Oksana and I are both excited to move to Eugene and start our new life together.
My biggest dilemma is wondering what to do with my Duck/Beaver loyalties. Do I embrace Duck-hood, and cut ties to my Beaver past? Or do I continue as closeted Beaver fan? Suggestions?

Well, congratulations on the acceptance. It's always nice to have a lawyer in the family. =) Now, if someone would please go to med school!
We have no good suggestions for your duck/beaver dilemma. Craig jokingly says to root for whomever is doing better that year. We have friends that do that. You know, put out your duck flag when your duck friends come over, and your beaver flag when your osu friends come over. We have very good friends that are on both sides, and man, things sure get heated when we get together. No beaver fan likes it when the duck fan parks up in his front yard with his green truck with the duck antennae/mud flaps/hitch cover/window graphics/floormats, etc. They say it's bad for the neighborhood. I just figured parking all crookedy up in someones front yard is what looked bad, but hey, what do I know?
Congratulations again. We hope to meet Oksana soon, and we are happy for you both! =)
