Christmas vacation

Sorry, no pictures. I did take a few before the camera got burried under a heap of "stuff" on my desk. That heap is partially demolished but not completely. It was wonderful having everyone here. If you are living in the land of sunshine, you will really appreciate it after being here this week. For the rest of us, I'm sure we will be in for more.

Grandpa sent a Christmas card with a poem that he wrote. He was very proud of it and I know he meant it to be for all of us. It also was burried in the heap. I wanted to put it here so you all could read it. He found a picture of a cowboy carrying a lamb in the snow. He took it to print shop and they printed the card with the poem in it

To our friends and
loved ones far and near

The ones we hold in
our hearts so dear

Merry Christmas and
A Happy New Year

Wishing you all the best
My Love,
Mahlon
Dad
Grandpa
Great Grandpa

Have a great new year, Love Mom

That was a pretty amazing poem. Thanks for sharing, mom! We had a wonderful time in Oregon visiting and playing games with everyone. It was a little wet, but at least it wasn't as COLD as it is here! Love you all!
