Apartment Update

First of all, this is my third post in a row. That's really sad. Normally Kaysha is the minister of non-blogging guilt trips, but really people--you should be ashamed of yourselves.

I still haven't gotten new couches, but they did come and replace the old "air conditioner" (pictured here:)
Do yourself a favor and click the picture for a close up. This little picture doesn't do it justice. Here's a picture of where they found the old one:

Actually, if you squint and look closely at the bottom right of this picture, I think you can see it.

Even though I haven't gotten new couches, I have managed to throw some sheets over the old ones. This makes them look almost nice, until someone sits on them, somehow causing the sheets end up in a random ball shoved down in the cushions.

The sweet rug, by the way, I picked up at that awesome "free" garage sale a few weeks ago. It really completes the room. The chess board is to make me look smart.

Completing the crappy 70's decor look that I'm going for are these place mats that I bought at a garage sale last summer. I always knew they would someday help complete a kitchen. I was right:

One more look, this time of the "vanity." Here you can see my wide array of NuSkin products, which help keep me looking young. Thanks to these products, people are consistently guessing my age to be 22-23. Way off!!

By the way, I went and saw Transformers the other day. One of the best movies I've ever seen. Top 10 probably. Seriously. See it.

That is all.

The apartment will keep you focused on finishing your education so that it will not be your permanent home.
If you watched HGTV, you would know that you must refer to the rooms as "this space" and the accessories add a little "punch". It is important to use the correct terms when you are explaining your decor. Also, it is not "79's crappy", it is "retro". My goodness, didn't I teach you anything.
I'm impressed by the cleanliness though. Cherish it because as soon as the others move in, chances are it will turn into a pig stye.
Love you, MOM
